The Incubator Pod project is a program created to bring together the UCSF Department of Urology faculty with the intent of fostering relationships, connections, and ideas.  Each “Pod” consists of an intentionally created small group (of approximately 6 individuals), representing a mixture of clinical and research faculty at all career levels.  Pods are deliberately designed to connect faculty of varying backgrounds and across sites who do not work together or interact on a regular basis.  The Incubator Pod project will consist of six thematically designed small group sessions over the course of one year (taking place approximately every other month) according to the following themes related to faculty development and diversity, equity & inclusion:

• Mentoring
• Work/Life balance 
• Giving and receiving feedback
• Interviewing
• Conflict Resolution
• Negotiation
